For a year and a half, Sustainable Transportation Vermont has showed how Vermonters might tread more lightly as they move about. Founders Richard Watts, Cashel Stewart and Anna Wymer, began this newsletter/blog by posting transportation-related news items. They added commentaries on local issues and expanded the blog's range by inviting contributors to add their perspective or report their experiences. After Cashel and Anna graduated and embarked on their careers (thanks to both of them!) the newsletter went quiet. Now it's time to take this it to the next level.
For the next six months, with the support of Richard Watts, I'll be taking over as editor/manager of STV's blog. As you can see, it has a whole new look we hope you'll find simpler and easier to navigate. A few of Vermont's movers, shakers, and policy makers added their voices to past issues. We expect to engage many more, expanding the range of issues we address. We hope their essays will help you think about transportation in a whole new way.
